Home & Supply Prep

Please make sure you are ready for your Shih Tzu puppy to come home.

– Make sure cords and wires are tucked away.

– Please have a large playpen as a safe play area.

– Please bring a travel carrier with you and some puppy or baby wipes just in case.

– Please also bring potty pads for the ride home.

– Please pre-order the food and any toys you would like. We discourage you from visiting pets mart or Pet Co on the day of pickup. They are highly susceptible to parvo at this age. Be very careful about outings until the puppy is 2 weeks past full vaccination which is about 18 weeks old.

– Please make sure you schedule your vet visit to be within 3 days of picking up your puppy to keep your purchase agreement and health guarantee valid.

Care and Feeding

– Please purchase the puppy food prior to picking up your puppy. The food they are on is Blue Buffalo small-breed puppy and can be found on my shop link. 

– We encourage free feeding where they can access food and water at all times until they are a year old to help prevent low blood sugar.

– Please limit playtime as a puppy to about 20 minutes before having them take a rest to prevent hypoglycemia. 

Payment and Contract

– Please arrive with your final payment in cash.

– Please fill out the purchase agreement before you arrive. Once you see the puppy its hard to remember to fill out the agreement in all the excitement. We recommend you do this beforehand. 

– You will receive a copy of the purchase agreement at the email you enter into the form. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder.
